14-Month Limited Workmanship Warranty

At Platinum Welding, we stand behind the workmanship of the repairs we perform.

Eligible repairs are covered by a 14-Month Limited Workmanship Warranty, beginning on the date the repair is completed.

This warranty applies specifically to the workmanship performed by Platinum Welding and does not constitute a warranty of the entire vehicle, trailer, equipment, structure, component, or other property being repaired.

What Is Covered?

This warranty covers defects in the workmanship of the specific repair performed by Platinum Welding.

If a covered repair fails during the warranty period due to a defect in Platinum Welding's workmanship, Platinum Welding will inspect the repair and, when the failure is determined to be covered under these terms, make a reasonable repair to correct the covered workmanship issue.

The warranty applies only to the repair work specifically identified on the customer's invoice, repair documentation, or warranty confirmation.

What Is Not Covered?

This warranty does not cover failures, damage, or conditions resulting from circumstances outside the workmanship performed by Platinum Welding, including:

  • New damage occurring after the original repair

  • Accidents, impacts, collisions, or other physical damage

  • Abuse, misuse, overloading, or operation outside the intended use of the repaired item

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Corrosion, rust, deterioration, or material degradation

  • Pre-existing damage outside the area specifically repaired

  • Failure of surrounding material or components not repaired by Platinum Welding

  • Modifications, alterations, repairs, or welding performed by another party after Platinum Welding's work

  • Failure caused by defective, unsuitable, or customer-supplied materials

  • Damage resulting from improper maintenance or use

  • Conditions that could not reasonably be identified or corrected as part of the original repair

Repair Scope

The warranty applies only to the specific repair and scope of work documented on the customer's invoice or repair documentation.

A warranty claim does not automatically extend coverage to surrounding components, subsequent damage, additional repairs, or unrelated failures.

If the original repair was performed on a component that later fails elsewhere, the failure must be inspected to determine whether it is related to the workmanship covered by this warranty.

Warranty Claims

To request warranty service, the customer should contact Platinum Welding as soon as a potential warranty issue is discovered.

The customer may be asked to provide:

  • Customer name

  • Invoice or warranty information

  • Description of the issue

  • Photos or videos of the affected area

  • Additional information reasonably necessary to evaluate the claim

Platinum Welding may require an inspection of the repair before determining whether the issue is covered.

Do not modify, remove, repair, or have another party repair the affected area before contacting Platinum Welding, unless immediate action is reasonably necessary to address a safety concern or prevent further damage.

If a Claim Is Covered

If Platinum Welding determines that a failure is covered by this warranty, Platinum Welding will determine the appropriate corrective action based on the nature and extent of the covered workmanship issue.

The remedy is limited to addressing the covered workmanship defect and does not automatically include unrelated repairs, replacement of surrounding components, consequential damage, or new damage.

Warranty Documentation

Customers receiving an eligible warranty-covered repair will receive warranty documentation identifying the customer, repair, warranty start date, and warranty expiration date.

The customer's invoice and warranty documentation should be retained as proof of the repair and warranty period.

The warranty confirmation card does not replace these full warranty terms. The terms published on this page govern the scope and conditions of the warranty.

Warranty Period

The warranty begins on the date the applicable repair is completed and remains in effect for 14 months.

The expiration date will be identified on the customer's warranty documentation.

Warranty coverage applies only to eligible workmanship performed by Platinum Welding during the stated warranty period.

No Transfer Without Documentation

Warranty coverage is associated with the repair identified in Platinum Welding's records and warranty documentation. Any request involving a subsequent owner or change in ownership may require additional documentation and review by Platinum Welding.

Important Notice

This warranty is a limited workmanship warranty. It is not a guarantee that the repaired item will never experience another failure.

Welding repairs are performed on existing materials and structures that may have pre-existing damage, fatigue, corrosion, wear, defects, or other conditions outside the repaired area.

Platinum Welding does not warrant conditions or failures that are unrelated to the workmanship specifically performed by Platinum Welding.

Nothing in these warranty terms is intended to exclude or limit any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
